Hanin, a 13-year-old girl from Hebron, participated in the "Colorful Stories" initiative implemented by the HYDRC Facilitators Network program. This unique experience helped her develop her personality, enhance her creative skills, and express her feelings in innovative ways. Through interactive sessions, Hanin became more confident in expressing her opinions, which helped her overcome her shyness and boosted her self-confidence when speaking in front of others.
Hanin participated in a puppet show day, where she narrated stories to children using puppets she made herself. This engagement was a turning point in her life, as she felt capable of providing value to her community and helping children learn in enjoyable and fun ways. The puppet-making and storytelling sessions enhanced her creativity, teaching her to turn ideas into inspiring stories in addition to gaining experience in designing puppets that reflect the characters in the stories she tells.
