Showcasing Innovative Solutions: Food Sector Hackathon Inspires Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation

After three days of intensive work, the Food Sector Hackathon participants showcased their innovative solutions to a panel of judges, an audience, and business leaders. In a positive and competitive atmosphere, 19 groups presented creative ideas.

The hackathon aimed to inspire young people to develop innovative solutions for challenges in Palestine's food sector. Participants worked closely with experts and mentors to turn their ideas into viable projects, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship among youth.

Ideas ranged from developing new food products to address vitamin and protein deficiencies, to protecting food from spoilage, and creating digital platforms to reduce waste and prepare healthy meals.

At the event's conclusion, the judging panel selected the top 5 projects, awarding cash prizes to the winners for their outstanding ideas.
We partnered with the Smart College for Modern Education to organize this event, with support from private sector representatives, including the Businessmen’s Forum, Chambers of Commerce, Al-Junaidi Dairy, and Hebron University. Special thanks to the judges who volunteered, including Mr. Ali Ramadan, Mr. Samer Halwani, and Mr. Moayyad Atawna.

This activity comes within “MASADER Project” to support the
