Hebron YDRC concluded, on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, the second specialized training aimed at supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs, implemented within the project “Supporting Women in Economic Growth” and funded by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), with the participation of 23 women from Hebron Governorate.
The training was conducted over three days, from April 19 to 31, 2026, targeting women aged 20 to 45 from Hebron Governorate, who own existing small businesses. The training adopted an interactive and practical approach that enhanced participants’ engagement and facilitated the exchange of experiences among them.
The training addressed key topics focusing on small business management and development, as well as mechanisms to improve performance and productivity. It also included practical applications and interactive activities that contributed to developing participants’ skills in planning, marketing, and pricing, in addition to introducing them to opportunities to obtain financial grants to support their businesses and mechanisms for following up on their development.
The training contributed to strengthening participants’ self-confidence and their ability to manage and develop their businesses more sustainably. It also provided them with practical skills that can enhance their access to stable sources of income and strengthen their presence in the local market.
This activity comes as part of the project’s efforts to support and economically empower women through developing their small businesses, as it focuses on providing an integrated package that includes practical training and professional mentoring while offering participants the opportunity to compete for financial grants.
In the coming weeks, the project will move into a new phase of implementation, during which participants will have the opportunity to compete for 12 financial grants dedicated to supporting and developing their businesses. This aims to enhance their productive capacities, promote economic sustainability, and strengthen their active participation in the labor market, while further reinforcing the role of women in local economic development.
